Environmental, Health and Safety Targets

Hanon Systems establishes annual performance targets based on extensive benchmarking of industry, customer and geographic trends in the areas of environmental, health and safety (EH&S) and sustainability. Achievement of the key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with these targets includes efforts surrounding the utilization of management systems, training, expert tools and sharing of best practices across the company’s global operations.

• Maintain ISO 14001 certification • No major (<USD 10K) environmental accidents • Waste recycle rate improvement 1 percent compared to 3-year average • Water withdrawal reduction of 1 percent • Energy efficiency improvement of 2 percent

• Carbon emissions reduction 4 percent (scope 1, scope 2, versus 2025 absolute) • Maintain zero violations in air emissions and wastewater discharge to protect biodiversity • 100 percent completion of target employee biodiversity awareness training
