SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 4, 2026 – Hanon Systems, a leading global automotive thermal management solutions provider and a member of Hankook & Company Group, is strengthening its global aftermarket business by combining its original equipment (OE) expertise in thermal management with the Group’s extensive know-how and experience in the automotive aftermarket.

The strategy is designed to build a strong Hanon Systems presence in the global replacement-parts market by addressing specific opportunities and requirements of individual regions. In North America, the company sees opportunities in the established replacement-parts and DIY markets. In the Middle East, demand for air-conditioning and cooling products is supported by the region’s climatic conditions, while in Europe, the continued transition toward electrified vehicles is creating opportunities for thermal management products and technologies suited to new powertrain architectures.

Since its establishment in January 2026, a dedicated global aftermarket organization has been driving the development of the aftermarket business across regions. The organization provides a global framework for the business while addressing the specific market requirements, customer needs, and sales channels in each region.

As part of this strategy, Hanon Systems has added a dedicated aftermarket page to its website that provides an overview of its aftermarket capabilities and offerings. The page presents the company’s aftermarket approach through four core areas: proven expertise, thermal focus, electrification-ready, and customer support. The page also introduces the new aftermarket slogan “Driven by OE Expertise”.
