    Economizer (Vapor Injection)

    A refrigerant-to-refrigerant heat exchanger supporting the vapor injection (VI) compression cycle, featuring stacked aluminum plates with customizable stack heights and aluminum offset internal fins. Utilizes patented, zero-leak metal seal fittings, and customizable brackets and port locations for flexible packaging.

    Outside Heat Exchanger / Gas Cooler

    Outside Heat Exchangers are employed in heat pump systems and support the system’s dual operation modes (cooling and heating). Gas Coolers are employed in R744 refrigerant systems. Both feature recyclable, all-aluminum constructions and high-efficiency multiport tube / fin matrix designs utilizing patented, zero-leak metal seal fittings. An integrated receiver drier allows for top and bottom sub-cool to support varied vehicle front-end architectures. Suitable for stand alone or multi-cooler designs for improved packaging and cost.

    Water-Cooled Condenser / Gas Cooler

    Typically paired with a low-temperature radiator, these heat exchangers transfer heat from high-pressure, high-temperature refrigerant to coolant, supporting A/C system performance. Both feature scalable plate-to-plate geometry, available in chevron plate or plate-fin designs, with internal circuits that enhance heat transfer. Includes patented zero-leak metal seal fittings in a compact design.

    Evaporator

    The evaporator transfers heat from the low-pressure, low-temperature refrigerant to ambient air to cool the cabin. Features include: multi-port extruded aluminum tubes and louvered aluminum fins to enhance heat transfer capability, different inlet/outlet pipe interfaces to support diverse packaging requirements, and an exterior coating that encourages water drainage and limits bacteria growth. Accepts thermal expansion valves (TXV) and electronic expansion valves (EXV) with standard connector.

It combines benefits from both heater and evaporator designs, including folded aluminum tubes (heater) and louvered aluminum fins (evaporator). Different inlet/outlet pipe interfaces support diverse packaging requirements, and its exterior coating encourages water drainage and limits bacteria growth.

    Inside Condenser

    An alternative to heaters for heat pump systems, the inside condenser transfers heat from the high-pressure, high-temperature refrigerant to ambient air to heat the cabin. Its recyclable all-aluminum construction utilizes patented, zero-leak metal seal fittings.

    Charge Air Cooler

    The charge air cooler (CAC) reduces the temperature of compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine, increasing air density and improving combustion efficiency. Optimized fins and tubes ensure high heat transfer performance, while durable, simplified construction supports long-term reliability.

    The Air-Cooled CAC efficiently transfers heat from high-temperature, high-pressure charged air to ambient air.

    The Water-Cooled CAC transfers heat from the high-temperature, high-pressure charge air to coolant. Typically, WCACs operate in conjunction with air-cooled low temperature radiators.

  • Transmission Oil Cooler

    Transmission Oil Cooler

    The transmission oil cooler (TOC) manages the vehicle transmission’s temperature, and prevents excessive transmission fluid temperatures during high load and hot weather operation

    The air-cooled TOC transfers heat from the high-temperature, high-pressure automatic transmission oil to the ambient air. It features extruded aluminum tubes, as well as louvered aluminum fins for enhanced heat transfer capability.

    The water-cooled TOC transfers heat to the coolant, allowing heat to be added or removed from the transmission oil depending on the thermal management strategy. Its scalable plate-to-plate geometry is available in dimpled plate or plate-fin type designs.
