Combines the coolant and refrigerant control modules, HVAC, and front-end cooling module into a single integrated system, managed by a controller with advanced software algorithms and control mechanisms that efficiently controls the key components of the heat pump circuit. Modularization of key components reduces package size, weight, time and cost in manufacturing process.

    Thermal Management Module with Integrated Heat Pump System

    Combines refrigerant and coolant modules into a single solution, with optional additional features to support vapor injection (VI) and hot gas bypass (HGBP) processes - such as a VI eCompressor, a VI economizer, and HGBP valves and A/C lines - depending on vehicle requirements.

    Customizable integrated coolant components include the coolant manifold, distribution valve, proportional valve(s) and pumps with variable sizing to support different modes and flow requirements.

    VR-LED Photocatalyst

    A patented and 2025 PACE award-winning innovation that improves cabin air quality by eliminating air-borne viruses, bacteria, gaseous materials and unpleasant odors from the evaporator and the air in the vehicle cabin. Easily mounted on the HVAC, the VR-LED Photocatalyst module generates a multitude of hydroxyl radicals through a photocatalytic reaction for disinfection and deodorization.


    CO2 Sensor

    Monitors the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the cabin and signals the HVAC to introduce fresh air when levels exceed the threshold.


    Fragrance System

    Allows occupants to select a scent and toggle the system on and off to diffuse aroma into the cabin. Contains integrated control algorithms that intermittently open and close to maintain the selected aroma intensity.

    Two different designs provide advanced sealing technology to prevent leaks and on-board diagnostic (OBD) functionality. The needle-type design combines expansion and shut-off functionality in a single component, while the ball-type design offers bi-directional full flow and minimal pressure drop in both directions. Both designs allow easy integration for packaging and cost improvements.

    Hanon Systems offers a family of eCompressors that accommodate various displacements, performance ranges and voltages up to 800V. The modular design for 33cc and 45cc enables full-range manufacturing on a single line to cut costs and accelerate production. Designed for high-performance and high-durability, the 45cc eCompressor offers high speed operation to support system approaches like vapor injection or hot gas bypass systems.

    Electronic Water Pumps

    Hanon Systems is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of high-efficiency coolant pumps that operate on-demand, minimizing energy consumption and in some cases, reducing the number of pumps required in a thermal system. These pumps are an integral part of vehicle thermal management systems that regulate the temperatures of batteries, DC/DC converters, and power electronics. They also help to lower fuel consumption, friction losses and emissions. Developed end-to-end in house, they can readily integrate into coolant control modules and are compatible with conventional as well as newer low-conductivity and dielectric coolants.
